I suppose this is a legendary establishment but somehow declined? Food was alright, rice was on the soggy side but the fried shallots were aromatic though. The standard fare of fried dishes were a bit on the oily side. What do you expect, they are DEEP FRIED. There weren't much choices at night, don't know if lunch options are better. Prices were decent for the quality. Might come back if in the area.

The restaurant has been around since 1993. One of the best nasi uduk around the area. The nasi uduk here is served inside a banana leaf, which added the fragrance of the rice. Don't forget to eat together with the peanut sauce/ sambal kacang. It has a great combo

For the place quite strategic, near some train stasions (Cikini and Gondangdia). And also there is Transjakarta bus stop near the place, so you can walk to the restaurant. For the private car, the parking spot also available in the street. In inside restaurant, there are avialable a lot of dine table for families or groups. And firstly you have to self pick up the side dish of the Nasi Uduk, it contains several fried side dish (shrimps, chickens, sate, and until PETE ). For the taste i give ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nasi uduk with chicken + empal sapi + tahu + tempe = enak banget! The rice is nicely cooked with santan, sprinkle with bawang goreng and wrapped in banana leaf. Coupled with two choice of sambal, peanut and chilli. Special menu soto betawi (Soto Jakarta Bawah Rel) from the shop next door. The ambient is quite crowded but fairly clean.

One of the best tradional flavoured rice with coconut milk in Jakarta. The sambal or spicy sauce is also very good. A must try!

Good sambel for nasi uduk. They provide two variants. And it costs nicely. The place is modeste but it's oke as far as they clean it well. Be back here someday.

Taste wise, it was delicious and well wrapped. But portion wise, it's quite small. I ordered Nasi Uduk and Ayam Bakar. I wanted to order the drinks, but the staffs couldn't answer my questions about what they made of and how long it could last. So i cancel to buy the beverage eventho' it feels so tempting to try. Maybe should wait when the owner comes because they said that only the owner knows the answers.
